Champneys Henlow Ltd (company number 1297142) operates a number of health spas in the UK. This Privacy Policy details the approach that Champneys Health Resorts takes to the use of personal information from, and related to, our customers.

  • When you use WiFi at our health spas and day spas;

  • When you interact with us via third parties (e.g. via brand partners and social media platforms); and
  • From third parties (e.g. through third party surveys and market research you participate in).

Is personal information disclosed to third parties?

No. Champneys Health Spas does not sell, trade, lease or rent your personal information to others. The primary use that we make of personal information is to produce aggregate statistics about our customers, sales, traffic and related information but these statistics do not include any personally identifying information.

Is personal information used for any other purposes?

From time to time Champneys Health Spas may employ other companies and individuals to work on our behalf. Examples of such work might include: sending email, analysing data and providing customer call-centre services. Such agents have access to the personal information needed to perform their functions but may not use it for other purposes.

How is personal privacy protected?

Champneys Health Spas use up to date industry procedures to keep personal data as safe and secure as possible and to protect such data against loss, unauthorised disclosure or access. Please remember that you are responsible for protecting your password/ username and must not share it or allow its disclosure to anyone.

Champneys Health Spas reserves the right to change this privacy policy and continued use of our services signifies your agreement to any changes.

 

Klarna’s payment methods

In order to offer you Klarna’s payment methods, we might in the checkout pass your personal data in the form of contact and order details to Klarna, in order for Klarna to assess whether you qualify for their payment methods and to tailor those payment methods for you. Your personal data transferred is processed in line with Klarna’s own privacy notice.

Data Cookies

These cookies used to keep track of some selections the visitor has made and whether the user is logged in or not. They do not store the user's email or password, nor are they retained or used on the server side. Data cookies are set with a "session" expiry, which remains while the user has his/her browser program running, but is deleted if the browser program is shut down. If a visitor keeps his/her computer on and leaves the same browser program open for weeks, then this cookie will remain that long as well. If the visitor closes his/her browser program a minute after he/she stops using the site, the cookie is deleted then.
